A 40 rack data centre.  An average rack load of 19kW, varying from 12kW/rack to 25kW per rack. The main systems included an in-line rack cooling system with N+1 redundancy, chillers with N+1 redundancy, 1MW UPS with N+1 redundancy, 1800kVA generator, 1600kW cast iron transformer, and a 30,000 litre buffer vessel.

  • Obmg ltd works/input on the projectClient appointed consultant engineer to develop/prepare M&E design and build package, review and approve design by successful contractor, assist in IST development, commissioning witness testing, full snagging and final inspections.  In addition we were engaged by the successful contractor on the project to peer review the complete M&E design and build package as developed by their internal design engineering team.

 

Tipperary P2 Data Centre

A 70 rack data centre.  An average rack load of 15kW per rack. The main systems included an in line rack cooling system with N+1 redundancy, chillers with N+1 redundancy, UPS with N+1 redundancy, 2200kVA generator, 2000kW cast iron transformer, and 2x 30,000 litre buffer vessels.
